Hey, everyone. It’s your friendly neighborhood sonnetstuck here. So. 500 followers. Wow. When I saw the number last night, I thought it was really cool, but now that I stop to really think about it, this is kind of blowing my mind. When I wrote that first little WV sonnet to pass the time when I was bored at work, I couldn’t have imagined it would grow into this. I’m not going to write anything long and saccharine here, because nobody wants to read that, but just know that I currently have long and saccharine thoughts in my head.

Anyway, on to the practical side of this. I need to do something big to celebrate, but I don’t know what. In the past, to celebrate 100 and 250 followers, I wrote Homestuck-ized versions of The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock and Kubla Khan respectively. So I could do that with another famous long poem. Or I could do something totally different. But I want to do something special (especially since it will also be my 100th post on this blog).

So if you have any thoughts about what I should do, let me know! Whether it’s a specific poem you’d like to see me take on, or an idea for something else entirely. And, as always, I’d be very appreciative if you tossed me some suggestions for poem topics in my ask box. Again, thank you all so much for following me. In my blog, you’re the stars.
