The Spider and the Whale
The seagrift Flarpers finish their campaign;
They divvy up the spoils, spread the sail,
And slay their captives. Unopposed they reign.
They’re known by all: the Spider and the Whale.
When other players spot their flag, with dread,
Abscond they might, but ‘tis to no avail.
The blue and violet pirates can’t be fled,
For none escape the Spider and the Whale.
A double terror, armed with dice and gun;
They follow in their predecessors’ trail.
With treasures gained and all the levels won
(Yes, all of them): the Spider and the Whale.
So hark, ye flarpers; listen to my tale
Of those they call the Spider and the Whale.
